Gotten on enough soapboxes
from grand to modest
and on and on
having gone way too far
as a grande dame
with the peek-a-boo quality
of overarching works in progress
while on the cusp of possibility
like tongue-in-cheek
measured in feats of captivity
with limited experience
in idiosyncrasies coinciding uneasily
with the bottom line of domestic life...
